Its been a LONG time since we updated this site outside of the store area and it is definitely on our agenda for the summer but for now just wanted to drop a line and say that we definitely apreciate all the support which we've been seeinf from all of you lately and say that Im truely thankfull to have motherfuckas like you helping us get our shit heared, all of you helping promote the events and bringing new faces into our scene...the shit is beyond my expectations and I am greatful for it...keep the shit going, lets take over this motherfucka! Another long while since the last update but we're back, more shows added to the concert calendar and many that just passed that been keeping us mad busy, if you don't see any upcoming events on here that means we're slacking and you can find them at www.myspace.com/scumgorehop where they are updated weekly!
So aside from shows, we've been putting oput all sorts of new merch which as always is not being added to the store due to the high turnaround of designs and sizes available, something sells out chances are we don't reprint it but we make something new so don't sleep, whenever you see something you like it might not be ever available again and will probably sell out at the next show….right now we got a few different SCUM designs, LSP pendants are on backorder and we got some DEATH4TOLD shirts on deck, any time youre interested in merch, email us at scum412@hotmail.com and we'll let you know whats currently in stock! Speaking of DEATH4TOLD….for those of you who don't know, that's the newest addition to the LSP camp, a duo consisting of Fiasco and True Killah, they are doing some hard shit that's completely different from their solo work and the CD is DONE! Its titled White Lips and goes into production in days so don't miss that shit and pick it up when its done, we are adding some of their tracks to the AUDIO section but in the meanwhile you can peep their shit at their myspace page www.myspace.com/death4told
We're also 1 and a half songs away from completing QREM DELA QREM's Bastard Son Of a 100 Maniacs album so that will be out real soon as well, check his myspace for updates, new songs and CD release/show info!! We are also adding a few more acts that will be announced shortly, releasing a mixtape for a horrorcore legend, putting out a remix compilation CD which will feature everyone in the camp, and are working on so much more shit you'll just have to wait and see or keep checking individual LSP myspaces for the 411!!
Scum is 5 sings into his “Bleed4This” album and is still undecided if its gonna be and EP or and LP but we will let you know as soon as he makes up his mind…the shit is coming out sick and you can expect the follow up to Dinner's Served to crush, disgust and offend as expected!!
We are expecting Borey to start work on new materials shortly and will keep you posted on that as it happends…GOREFUCKINGFEST is on the way, don't miss it, if you have to kill someone to make it, trust us, its worth it!!! This year we got 31 acts confirmed, the show is the longest GoreFest yet going from noon to 11pm on April 26th at the Aztlan Theatre that hosted the last 2 GoreFests and is gonna be off the fucking chain!!! The flyer is in the picture section and we need everyones help to promote it, this MUST be the biggest one yet!!! If theres one LSP show you don't wanna miss this is definitely it!!!
We are also looking for online promoters, designers, people that will create graphics, pollute the net with them, promote, help us get tracks, show 411 and news out to fans and will work as a part of the LSP team helping us keep the fanbase growing and the buzz going, some will have access to individual myspace accounts of our artists to promote from there, some whos designs get used for shirts and CD's will receive numeours free merch and albums, some will get discounts on merch, free admission to shows, be added to the official LSP roster, etc, etc…if you got skillz and time, shoot a sample of your work (make it LSP related banners, graphics, flyers, shirt designs, etc) to scum412@hotmail.com all will be appreciated, the better ones will get used and result in hookups from the label and the best ones will be asked to join the label on the design/promo side!!! Also there are new beats added to Fiasco's beat page so don't sleep and get yourself some sick LSP beats for your albums!!! 2007 is done and over with and I want to take a moment to speak on what LSP got cooking for 2008 and answer some questions that the fans been asking me over the past few months so I dont have to keep answering the same ones over and over.
1. As far as planned releases for 2008, I will be releasing another EP titled "Bleed 4 This" later on this year which will have a bunch of new tracks along with the best tracks from the "Leftovers" EP as bonus tracks. I decided not to release that one seperately since I didnt feel it had enough quality tracks on there compared to "Dinner's Served" to make it worth being a store release but the best songs will be featured as bonus tracks on the upcoming release and the full version mught become available online in due time. We will also be releasing Qrem's "Bastard Son of a 100 Maniax" and a new LSP project known as Death4Told will be dropping a full length in late April as well… Borey and Fiasco are also working on more solo material which may drop in 2008 if its finished by then. Also we are adding 2 more out of state acts that will be releasing albums on LSP in 2008 which will be announced soon.
2. We ARE adding 3 more acts to the roster, Death4Told being one and 2 more that will be announced very soon so be patient and stay up on our news. We are also releasing an album by a horrorcore legend which will be out this summer…Do not email me asking who it is, I wont tell you till its officially announced.
3. We WILL be hitting a lot more states with shows in support of "Dinner's Served" I want to hit as many states as possible this time so for all of you hitting me up asking when we're coming to your state, keep checking the myspace and I hope we can make it happen but if you are in the position to help set up a show in your area, hit me up and Ill work with you to make that happen. There will be a lot of touring going on in 2008 so expect to see us pop up all over the map!
4. 3rd Annual GoreFest (the main one in CO) will be happinging in Denver in April 2008 and a date will be announced shortly along with the full lineup.
There is a possibility that I will do another one in IN in memory of my fallen brother Sevill who ran that one courtesey of LSP MidWest but thats yet to be decided on.
5. BEEFS...Ive been asked about that one a LOT lately and to make things clear, PERSONALY I am DONE with all the beefs I had in 2007, I aint got time for that shit, got too many things that I am working on and I want to grow and expand as an artist and a label as much as possible in 2008 so I am done with the 3-4 beefs that were dragging on throughout 2006-2007 slowing me down. If the artists/fans on the other side of the tracks want to keep hating I could give a fuck less, I aint about to let that shit slow us down but on my end with as much work as I put in trying to unite this horrorcore/wicked shit scene and help it grow I feel that me getting involved in all the net drama and inter artist conflicts sends the wrong messege to the fans and hurts the geanre I try to help build. Also it drags the fans and other artists associated with mine/rival camps into the conflict like with 7SE which aside from artists I was involved in beefin with consists of acts like Psycho Jesus, Menacide, Saint Sinner and Claas who I dont have any personal problems/tension with, and like their music and in some instances like with Saint n Jesus like and respect on a personal levil. Shit maybe one day I will even try to bring them out to CO for some shows or drop sum collabs. So fuck the beef shit, I am OVER it and encourage our fans to do the same.
6. For all of those who keep sending us demos and asking about openings on the roster, I dont not plan on adidng any more acts aside from who I already decided to add till the end of 2008 but anything's possible, I could change my mind if I hear something that I cant pass or wait on so keep em coming and as I said I do plan on adding another act in the end of 2008, I am mainly seeking another group or a female artist but I am open to all submissions so send your shit in!
7. StreetTeams...some of you have not gotten your promo materials that you requested, reason being we are all out of Dinner's Served promos and stickers and I dont want to send you shit promoting old releases so please forgive me for the wait, I will get more ordered as soon as possible and when the shit comes in Ill make an announcement stating its here for grabs and will send out all the packages youre waiting for. Ill hit up (or one of our staff members will) to confirm your shipping adresses when that happends.
8. Last but not least, expect more new merch, charms, rags, etc, etc to be hitting the streats throughout the year, the reason we dont list exact items in stock on the sites is that all the runs are limited and usually are not repressed and the shit sells so quick that theres no point listing it on the site just to take it down a few days later when its sold out or limited to a few select sizes....just hit us up through the contact links and we will let you know whats in stock and available at this time and what the rates and sizes are.
I want to thank all of you for your undying support, 2007 was a great year for LSP and with all the love and support we are getting 2008 is easyly gonna top that. You (the fans) definitely are our biggest inspiration and motivation so keep it up and this shit will NEVER die!
